About the Author
You donât know my name. Thatâs intentional.
This book advocates for financial privacy. For the right to transact without surveillance. For boundaries in digital life. For the option of anonymity when needed.
I practice what I preach.
Why Anonymous
Not because Iâm hiding from law enforcement. Iâm not breaking laws. Not because Iâm ashamed of this work. Iâm proud of it. Not because I fear criticism. I expect disagreement and welcome debate.
Because demonstrating the technology matters more than building a personal brand.
Because the message matters more than the messenger.
Because if this book helps you, you should learn about the ideas and tools it presents, not about me.
Satoshi Nakamoto stayed anonymous. Created Bitcoin and disappeared. Let the technology speak for itself. No personal brand. No celebrity status. No ego. Just the work.
That was wisdom. Ideas should be judged on merit, not on the identity of who proposes them. Technology should be evaluated on whether it works, not on whether you like the person who built it. Truth doesnât require famous advocates.
What I can tell you: Iâve spent years studying this. Understanding how money works. How surveillance operates. How the system actually functions beneath the surface most people see. Iâve verified the technology. Tested the tools. Met people whose lives depend on privacy. Seen what these systems enable and what they prevent.
I wrote this book because I wish it had existed when I was younger. Because important information shouldnât stay locked in technical papers that only experts read. Because more people deserve to understand whatâs possible. Because knowledge should be accessible, not gatekept.
This book is a gift. Not in the sense that Iâm generous. In the sense that information wants to be free. That ideas matter more when they spread. That tools are useless if people donât know they exist.
Why This Book Exists
This started as a thought experiment: Whatâs the book I wish I had when I was eighteen years old?
Most books about cryptocurrency are too technical. Lose general readers in jargon. Assume prior knowledge. Explain how things work without explaining why they matter.
Or theyâre too focused on price. Treat cryptocurrency as investment vehicle. Focus on returns, speculation, trading. Miss the entire point.
Or theyâre too narrow. Cover Bitcoin but not privacy. Explain technology but not context. Show mechanisms but not implications.
I wanted something different. A book that:
Starts with zero assumptions. Builds understanding from first principles. Explains not just how things work but why they matter. Connects technology to human impact. Shows tools and teaches when to use them.
A book I could give to someone who knew nothing about cryptocurrency and theyâd understand not just what it is, but why it matters, how it works, and what they can do with it.
A book that treats readers as intelligent people who deserve clear explanations, not as marks to be sold to or experts to be impressed.
So I wrote it. The book I wish had existed. The explanation I wish Iâd had. The journey from understanding money to understanding alternatives to understanding what happens next.
How to Use This Book
Read it however serves you.
Front to back: The intended journey. Each chapter builds on previous ones. Understanding accumulates. Context deepens. By the end, youâll see the complete picture.
Jump around: Each chapter stands reasonably well on its own. Want to understand privacy? Start with Parts IV and V. Curious about Bitcoin? Go to Part III. Need historical context? Begin with Parts I and II. Just want practical guidance? Skip to Part VI.
Share it: Pass it to people who need it. The teenager figuring out life. The parent seeking understanding. The friend asking about crypto. The skeptic needing context.
Verify everything: Donât trust me. Donât trust anyone. Check facts. Test claims. Verify technology. Think critically. This book provides information. You provide judgment.
Take action: If this book convinces you that privacy matters, use private tools. If it shows you that alternatives exist, try them. If it demonstrates that your choice matters, choose.
Think independently: I advocate for specific things. Privacy. Financial sovereignty. Freedom money. Zcash. I believe in them. Iâve verified them. But you should decide for yourself. Read. Learn. Question. Choose.
This book isnât scripture. Itâs information. Use it. Challenge it. Test it. Decide what makes sense to you.
Support and Contact
This book is free. No cost. No strings. No ads. No subscriptions. Free as in freedom. Free as in no barriers.
Why? Because information this important shouldnât be locked behind paywalls. Because the eighteen-year-old who needs this most might not be able to pay. Because knowledge should be accessible to everyone.
If this book helps you, if it changes how you think, if it shows you alternatives you didnât know existed, thereâs only one thing I hope youâll do:
Use the tools. Try the technology. Protect your privacy. Share what you learned. Thatâs the support that matters.
What Comes Next
Youâre about to begin a journey. From understanding how money worked to seeing how it broke. From recognizing whatâs wrong to learning whatâs possible. From feeling powerless to understanding your power.
The journey starts with the origins of money. With early human societies figuring out how to trade. With the emergence of money as technology. With understanding what money actually is and what it does.
From there, youâll see corruption. How governments seized control. How inflation became permanent. How surveillance became total. How the system broke.
Then youâll discover solutions. Bitcoinâs breakthrough. Zcashâs completion. Technologies that restore what was lost. Tools that enable what seems impossible.
Finally, youâll explore what happens next. Your role. Your choices. Your power. Your future.
This isnât a short journey. The book is long because the story is complete. Because understanding requires context. Because shortcuts sacrifice clarity.
But every chapter matters. Every section builds. Every example illuminates. By the end, youâll understand money, privacy, freedom, and choice in ways most people never do.
Youâll have knowledge most people lack. Understanding most people miss. Tools most people donât know exist. Power most people donât realize they have.
The choice will be yours. As it should be. As it must be.
Ready?
The journey begins.
