Why Anonymous

I’m not hiding from law enforcement or breaking laws. I’m not ashamed of this work. I expect disagreement and welcome debate.

Demonstrating the technology matters more than building a personal brand. The message matters more than the messenger. If this book helps you, the ideas should stick, not my name.

What I can tell you: I’ve spent years studying this. Understanding how money works. How surveillance operates. How the system actually functions beneath the surface most people see. I’ve verified the technology. Tested the tools. Met people whose lives depend on privacy. Seen what these systems enable and what they prevent.

I wrote this book because I wish it had existed when I was younger. Important information shouldn’t stay locked in technical papers. More people deserve to understand what’s possible. Knowledge should be accessible, not gatekept.

This book is a gift. Not in the sense that I’m generous. In the sense that ideas matter more when they spread, and tools are useless if people don’t know they exist.

Why This Book Exists

This started as a thought experiment: What’s the book I wish I had when I was eighteen years old?

Most cryptocurrency books are too technical. They lose readers in jargon, assume prior knowledge, explain how without explaining why.

Others obsess over price. Treat crypto as investment vehicle. Miss the point entirely.

Still others are too narrow. Cover Bitcoin but skip privacy. Explain mechanisms but not implications.

I wanted something different. A book that:

Starts with zero assumptions and builds understanding from first principles. Explains not just how things work but why they matter. Connects technology to human impact.

A book I could give to someone who knew nothing about cryptocurrency and they’d understand not just what it is, but why it matters, how it works, and what they can do with it.

A book that treats readers as intelligent people who deserve clear explanations, not as marks to be sold to or experts to be impressed.

So I wrote it. The book I wish had existed. The explanation I wish I’d had. The journey from understanding money to understanding alternatives to understanding what happens next.

How to Use This Book

Read it however serves you.

You can read front to back. That’s the intended journey. Each chapter builds on previous ones, and by the end, you’ll see the complete picture.

Or jump around. Each chapter stands reasonably well on its own. If privacy brought you here, start with Parts IV and V. More interested in Bitcoin? Part III. Want the historical foundation first? Parts I and II.

Share it with people who need it. The teenager figuring out life. The parent seeking understanding. The friend asking about crypto.

And verify everything. Don’t trust me. Check facts. Test claims. Think critically. This book provides information. You provide judgment.

I advocate for specific things: privacy, financial sovereignty, Zcash. I believe in them. I’ve verified them. But you should decide for yourself.
